8-week Feldenkrais Course

The Healthy Skillful Spine is an 8-week exploration into the biological movement patterns that we humans have evolved to express through the spine and are vital to our health. It is designed to awaken the sensory image of the spine and clarify important movements that support health and vitality of the whole organism, by employing the brain’s capacity for neuroplasticity and refining perception of yourself.

This is for a curious individual that is:

⪢ Feeling locked or limited in their own body

⪢ Feeling that there is an untapped experience of body that is currently unavailable

⪢ Feeling a lack of ease in movement

You will develop:

  • A functional understanding of the basic evolutionary movements of the spine

  • A skill to observe subtle sensations and internal states

  • A clearer internal image of your spine and core (proprioception, interoception)

  • sensory skills for nervous system regulation

  • a deeper understanding, connection and appreciation of your body

  • reducing pain, increasing comfort and enjoyment of sensory experience
